The theatrical influence does come through in her vocal style, though not at the sacrifice of the Indie Pop vibe that also conjures thoughts of Taylor Swift at times.

“A soulful track with Pop sensibilities that has hints of Amy Winehouse and a stronger connection to Elle King or ZZ Ward, ‘Happy For You’ is a tongue in cheek track about wishing the best for an ex. The musical equivalent of the South’s Bless Your Heart when someone does or says something stupid the track is biting in a wry way, and the video is a fun watch with the vintage clips setting up the emotion of the track quite well. ”
