"Space" follows Evans most recent single " Kodak " as well as his evacuating from the US Virgin Islands following Hurricane Irma (US Virgin Islands is Connor's home base).

Of "Space", Connor says:

"This was a record from the moment I heard the beat I knew I wanted to spazz and just talk my shit. I just played the beat and immediately started humming the hook...."mhmmm I need my space" and that set the tone for the song. This track was super cathartic just going after everyone who's ever doubted what I'm doing.  I'm having all these moments that are reaffirming I'm on the right path so anyone bringing any negativity or doubt needs keep that energy the fuck away from me."
